FOOD GRADE BAGS & CLOTH :
Bally Jute Mills in association with Indian Jute Industries' Research Association was the first to develop and successfully implement the commercial production of Hydrocarbon Free Bags and Cloth using Rice Bran Oil II (RBO II) as a substitute to Jute Batching Oil (JBO) in the Jute industry.It was earlier found that JBO (used in cocoa packaging) lead to Hydrocarbon contamination and now that RBO is being used, it has been declared safe for packaging of food products like Cocoa, Coffee, Peanuts, Hazelnuts, Rice and other food grains. It has also been approved by the I.O.C.C.C
JUTE SACKS & BAGS :
Food grade Jute sacks like A.Twill, B.Twill, D.W. Flour Bags, Hy. Cees Bag, Liverpool Hessian Bags, Sugar Bags, Sand Bags and Box Bags are manufactured for packaging purposes. The group manufactures over 400,000 bags daily.

FABRICS :
Branded Ballyfabs[TM] various qualities of Jute fabric, Double Warp, Tarpaulin Canvas, Jute Cotton and Jute PP blended fabrics including bleached and dyed fabrics are made in the Group's units with stringent quality controls. Modern projectile and shuttleless Sulzer, STB and Gunne looms ensure 100% flawless weaving. The dyeing and bleaching plant ensures consistency in colour and shade of the fabrics. Pantone colour matching jobs are also undertaken. |

YARN & TWINE :
The group's Jute yarn manufacturing unit is unique in the Jute industry because of its high speed drawing frames and intersecting gills in the initial stages, which ensure the highest standard of quality in the yarn. Electronic scanners and bigger package modern twist frames ensure that lesser number of knots occur every 1000 metres. |

FLOOR COVERING :
Branded Earth Floors[TM], the Kankaria Group manufactures a wide variety of floor coverings, rugs (hand painted as well as designer printed), runners and mattings for that elegant look to the interiors.

CARPET-BACKING-CLOTHS:
We produce a wide range of broad width carpet backing cloths varying from 104" to 206"in both plain as well as sateen weave with different weights and constructions for both primary and secondary backing so as to suit the varying needs of the carpet industry.

We are amongst the largest manufacturers of scrim cloth. From 40 cm width to 200 cm width in roll lengths of 2000 mtrs to 5000 mtrs. This is used for making woven and non-woven products, which are used by the building industry and for making Jute Felt. It is also used for gardening and nursery purposes.
